Ohio Roofing Contractor That Stands Up To The Elements

Canton Roofer

The best price, the best shingle, and the best job possible.

A-1 roofing is different from most Ohio roofing companies. We show you the difference in the quality of shingles, how each part of the job goes on, and the many ways we can provide you with a roof that meets your needs and looks great.

The lowest price is not always the best price

In today's market, there is a big difference in shingles and their wear ability. Some of the roofs we have replaced are only four years old. Not only was the Ohio homeowner sold an inferior shingle, the roof wasn't installed properly. When the Ohio roofing contractor was called back to fix the problem he wasn't even in business anymore. A lot of Akron roofers just don't know shingles and are more interested in getting your money than in servicing your roof in the years to come.

A Leaky Roof Can Cost A Bit More Than The Roof Itself

akron roof repairsThere is nothing worse than having to replace ceilings, walls, and damage to floors because the roof wasn't done properly. No one should have to re-do their roof every five to seven years. If you choose a good shingle and reputable company, like A-1, you can afford many of the headaches and problems your neighbors are going through

Data tabulated from the Roofing Contractors Association indicated that some 20 year guaranteed asphalt fiberglass shingles were failing as early as six months, and continuing to fail up to 12 years. The average failures cited were at about five years. Specific failures reported include blow-offs, buckling, curling, loss of granules, splitting, cracking, and seal down problems.

Under normal expectations, economy grade materials can be expected to perform reasonably well over some seven to ten years. Middle-of-the-road grades of materials will probably not begin to show evidence of deterioration until about fourteen or fifteen years . . . twenty if you're lucky. Most better grade roofing lines should have a life expectancy of twenty-to-thirty years, unless the homeowner experiences severe weather conditions, or the materials are used inappropriately.
